The Preamble and Section 2 are amended to clarify that certain types of miscellaneous nonfleet vehicles and named nonowner applicants are eligible for direct assignment as private passenger risks.

Section 18 is amended to clarify that miscellaneous nonfleet vehicles and named nonowner applicants are not eligible for CAIP.

Section 21 is amended to delete a reference to all other risks from the provision describing the availability of optional limits.

Section 43 is amended to (1) clarify that the voluntary car years used to determine private passenger quotas may be written on a personal auto policy of any type, (2) expand the definition of Voluntary Private Passenger Liability Net Direct Written Car Years to include the weighted car years of miscellaneous nonfleet personal vehicles and named nonowner applicants in base data used for quota determination and exclude voluntary snowmobile data, and (3) expand the definition of Private Passenger Nonfleet Automobile Insurance Plan Premium to include AIP premiums for eligible types of miscellaneous nonfleet personal vehicles and named nonowner applicants.

Section 47 is amended to clarify that voluntary miscellaneous nonfleet vehicle and named nonowner applicant premium data is excluded from All Other Automobile Liability Premium data used to determine AORDP participation.

These amendments are effective immediately.
