Florida Statute 627.311(7) provides that the FAJUA has appointed its General Manager as its agent to receive service of process of all legal process issued against the association in any civil action. Process so serve shall be valid and binding upon the insurer. Importantly, this is the sole method of service of process upon the association. Neither claims nor process should be brought against the association's servicing carrier or its subcontractors.
