The Plan shall be administered by a Governing Committee hereinafter referred to as "the Committee" which shall consisit of eight Plan subscriber companies, two public members, one producer representative, and the Illinois Director of Insurance, ex officio (nonvoting).

The eight Plan subscriber companies shall consist of two representatives form each of the following classes of companies:

American Insurance Association (AIA)

Property Casualty Insurers Association of America (PCI)

Nonaffiliated Insurance Companies (NAF)

(Companies not belonging to one or more of the above two enumerated trade associations)

Two subscribers companies shall be at-large representatives as elected in subsection 37.B.2.c.

Each company serving on the Committee shall be represented by a salaried employee of the company. Not more than one company in a group of companies under the same management shall serve on the Committee at the same time. A company leaving its class of companies shall resign its seal prior to the next meeting of the Committee.

The producer representative is to be slected annually by the Professional Independent Insurance Agents of Illinois (PIIAI).

The public members shall be individuals appointed by the Illinois Director of Insurance form a list of candidates jointly prepared by the Committee and the staff of the Illinois Insurance Department. The Director shall annually appoint one public member who shall serve for a term of two years, except that in the first year in which public members are appointed, two public members shall be appointed, one for a term of one year and the other for a term of two years.
