The Missouri Joint Underwriting Association is administered by a Board of Governors consisting of ten members, including two representative from each of the following classes of companies:

• Alliance of American Insurers
• American Insurance Association
• National Association of Independent Insurers
• Nonaffiliated Insurance Companies
  (Companies not belonging to one or more of the above three enumerated trade associations)

The Board shall also include one licensed Missouri insurance agent or broker appointed by the Missouri Director of Insurance. The Director of Insurance or his or her designate shall also be a member, ex officio. At least one of the eight insurer members shall be a Missouri domestic insurer.
