Quick/Free Access to NYAIP Assignment Information

The New York Automobile Insurance Plan (Plan) is pleased to provide the availability of its automated assignment search Voice Response Unit (VRU). The VRU provides callers with immediate assignment information for applications assigned through the Plan during the preceding 3 months. The caller can quickly obtain assignment information by calling our toll free number (866) 694-6084. Please have the applicant's driver license number or vehicle identification number available when making the call. The VRU will provide callers with the name and contact number of the assigned carrier, the effective date of coverage and the NYAIP application processing number. The service is free, fast and easy to use with extended hours of operation available from 7A.M. through 11P.M.

In addition, the Plan has established a special e-mail address where producers can send requests for assignment search information that cannot be accessed through the VRU. The Plan will promptly reply to these requests by e-mail. Requests for Assignment information searches can be sent to NYAIPINQ@AIPSO.COM and must include the name, address, vehicle and date of registration for applicant to be searched.

Producer Application Submission System (PASS)

PASS is an Internet based program which will enable certified producers to electronically submit applicant information to immediately effect coverage for most private passenger applications submitted to the Plan. There is no charge for this service. Additionally, this service will provide use of a plain paper application.
