Quick/Free Access to NYAIP Assignment Information
To use the NYAIP's automated Assignment Confirmation facility:
- Establish a username and password to log in
- Go to "For Registered Users" column on the left, and select "Assignment Confirmation"
- Select "New York" from the Automobile Insurance Plan drop down menu
Producer Application Submission System (PASS)
PASS is an internet-based program that enables certified producers to electronically effect coverage and submit applications to the Plan. To access PASS, go to www.nypass.com.
Obtaining Certificates of Insurance on Commercial Auto Assignments
This notice is a reminder that you are producers and not agents of the NYAIP nor of the assigned carrier. As such, you do not have authority to issue Certificates of Insurance on Plan business. If an insured requires a Certificate of Insurance, please contact the assigned carrier.
- If the policy is issued by National Specialty Insurance Company, requests should be sent via email to CommercialAuto@aipservicing.com. National Specialty will process requests within 72 hours
- If the policy is issued by another carrier, please contact the carrier directly to request a Certificate of Insurance
