Announcements

Coming Soon, Fall 2024!! Commercial Applications in EASi!!

The Kansas Automobile Insurance Plan (Plan) is transitioning from a paper-based application process to utilizing the EASi (Electronic Application Submission Interface) system for all commercial applications.

This new automated system has several benefits for producers including:

  • Applications can be saved in EASi and the information will be available for updating at a later date.
  • You will have access to a printed version of an application for your review before completing.
  • Search functionality that allows you to view your agency’s applications, whether saved or completed, for 120 days.
  • An automated retraction feature that allows you to retract an unwanted submitted application up to the point in time when the application has been assigned to a company for policy issuance.
  • VIN Validation – enter the VIN in Commercial EASi, and the details for the vehicle will automatically populate.

What’s the next step for producers? Registering for EASi!

If you have submitted applications to the Plan in 2024, be on the lookout for a letter providing you with temporary usernames and passwords for EASi, including instructions on how to log in and set up your EASi account.

If you have not recently submitted applications to the Plan and wish to register for EASi, log in to EASi by clicking on the blue link above, then click on Register for EASi and select Kansas from the state list.  Complete the EASi registration form and submit it, along with all requested documentation, to the KS Plan address on the form, and they will start the process.

Remember – You will continue to submit commercial applications to the Plan as you do today.  If you have any questions, please contact the Plan office @ 888-706-6100 or KSAIP@aipso.com

While KAIP private passenger applications can continue to be submitted by postal mail, these electronic payment and delivery methods continue to be the most efficient way to submit KAIP private passenger applications for processing by the Plan.
