If an insured requires a Certificate of Insurance, please submit an email request to CommercialAuto@aipservicing.com. Requests will be processed within 72 hours.
USPS Postmark Policy UPDATE
Effective December 24, 2025 the USPS updated its postmark rules. The update states that machine-applied postmarks reflect the date of the first automated processing, not when mail was dropped off, potentially shifting dates by days due to mail consolidation. This change will impact Plan applications and payments as the postmark standard now relies on this later processing date.
In order to ensure applications and payments are postmarked immediately, the USPS suggests users (1) request mail be hand stamped at the post office, or (2) send mail certified or registered or (3) send mail certificate of mailing.
Electronic Submission for Ohio Commercial Applications
The Ohio Automobile Insurance Plan (Plan) is transitioning from a paper-based application process to utilizing the EASi (Electronic Application Submission Interface) system for all commercial applications. The EASi system is now live for Ohio commercial applications for policies effective June 1, 2023 and forward.
What’s the next step for producers? Registering for EASi!
If you have submitted applications to the Plan in 2023, be on the lookout for a letter providing you with temporary usernames and passwords for EASi, including instructions on how to log in and set up your EASi account.
If you have not recently submitted applications to the Plan and wish to register for EASi, log in to EASi by clicking on the blue link above, then click on Register for EASi and select Ohio from the state list. Complete the EASi registration form and submit it, along with all requested documentation, to the Ohio Plan address on the form, and they will start the process.
You will also see under Ohio Plan Links on this screen, instructions for producers that include how to set up your EASi account, and how to navigate the EASi website. There are also new Forms for policies effective 6/1/2023, as well as forms you will need to continue using until 6/1/2023. DO NOT use any forms that are dated as “6-23” in the Title field unless your application is effective 6/1/2023 or later.
Remember – You will continue to submit commercial applications to the Plan as you do today, until you are submitting an application with an effective date of 6/1/2023 and beyond. If you have any questions, please contact the Plan office @ 614-228-1678.
